Sinus washing reduces sinus and allergy symptoms and the frequency and intensity of allergy attacks more effectively than saline sprays. Sinus washing provides a safe, affordable, and natural experience. An Ancient Technique for Modern HealthSinus washing is an ancient Ayurvedic technique, called jala neti, with origins based in the yoga tradition. In Eastern cultures, jala neti is performed as routinely as we brush our teeth or wash our hands. Although Western doctors commonly prescribe antihistamines, decongestants, steroids, and antibiotics, they also recommend sinus washing for allergy sufferers and patients with chronic sinusitis. Allergists and ear, nose, and throat specialists (ENTs) also encourage sinus washing as a preventive approach to allergies and key to sinus health. The Waterpik SinuSense Soothing Saline Easy-Pour Packs are recommended for ages four and older.About Water Pik, Inc.: Treat Yourself BetterSince 1962, Water Pik, Inc. has been a leader in developing and manufacturing innovative personal and oral health care products. It was not since 11 years ago when I discovered that the best sinus treatment for what was left inside of my nose was actually daily sinus irrigation. I have used almost all devices that exist and I'm using now two of them, the SinuPulse Elite for domestic use and the Waterpik for travelling. The waterpik has resolved my problems when I'm out of home and away of the regular sinus cleaning although, I think, they should improve its ergonomy oto make it the perfect devide for the work. Furthermore I very much prefer the Waterpik saline sinus pack with Aloe Vera and Eucalyptus over anything that its in the market, and I have tested them all. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Convenient shaped pack, nice formula By Diana De Avila After having had a Septoplasty and chronic sinus-infections throughout my life, I have become much more aware of the importance of sinus irrigation. My doctor gave me a recipe years ago and I know you can find them on the Internet as well. However I find using a product like SinuSense offers a lot more convenience. I used Ayr Saline Nasal Rinse Kit Refill Packets, 100-Count Packets (Pack of 2) these with the Ayr bottle that came along with it but after I ran out decided to go with these. For convenience and ease, they are great. I do not really smell, taste or sense the Eucalyptus and Aloe Vera in the product. But for form factor alone I like these because they are easy to pour into the narrow mouth of a bottle. They say on the package that you CAN use tap water but it is not recommended. I do not use distilled water any more because it's just too much of a hassle. Tap water works just fine for me.Saline flushing is a must if you deal with allergies and if you use nasal sprays -- saline sinus flushing is a must for you. I have found that flushing helps my allergies and sinuses exponentially. Waterpik offers a convenient way to accomplish the goal. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Better than "Sinus Rinse" saline packs. By Radcliffe I use these with the Sinus Rinse pressure bottle. IMHO, these are better than the standard saline packs that Sinus Rinse offers. Plus, this is cheaper. See all 9 customer reviews...
