His doctor had us buy a waterpik to irrigate his sinuses. My husband travels a lot for work. Lugging a huge waterpik around the world in his suitcase was not an option. The "portable" waterpik-like devices had much too strong a flow to use for the sinues. I bought this product so that my husband could irrigate while on the road. After a two-week trip abroad, my husband ditched the waterpik and uses only this device. The tip creates a seal around the edge of the nose, so water does not escape...it just pushes through the sinus cavity. The whole process is much less messy and noisy than using a waterpik or similar device. My husband took his Nasaline with him on a followup appointment with his doctor. His doctor was so enthused with this ingenious device that he is encouraging his patients to consider this in lieu of using the waterpik.I also purchased one for my personal use during "sinus weather". No sinus infections for me! 33 of 33 people found the following review helpful. Headache relief By M. Barton I have a strong tendency toward sinus headaches and sinus infections. I my case, my sinus cavities just don't drain well, so pressure builds and a headache results. It isn't unusual for me to have headaches weeks in a row. This product, however, has been a tremendous aid for me. Every morning I flush my sinus cavities out with it. The results are very effective. It cleans them out and adds necessary moisture. The end result is that my sinus headaches, while not completely eliminated, have been reduced quite significantly. While I'm not always eager to take the time to flush my sinus out each morning, it is quite worth it because on the days I don't I almost always end up with a headache. Also, my sinus infections are down and if I get exposed to something that causes higher than usual congestion, I can use it a second time in the day with benefits. I highly recommend the product. 37 of 38 people found the following review helpful. If you have sinus/allergy problems, try this!!!! It really works! By Kathleen For years Doctors told me to use saline sprays for my allergy and sinus problems. And for years, I tried product after product, time and time again, and none of them did much of anything. The water-pot types were uncomfortable and unpleasant and the mists didn't do much of anything. Well, the Doctors were right about the saline but the products I was buying at the drug and health food stores were wrong.I found Nasaline at a local Allergy Specialty store about 9 months ago and I use it once or twice a day. It only takes about 2 minutes and it's really easy. Since using Nasaline, my allergy problems are greatly reduced and I'm not having recurring sinus infections anymore. If you have allergy or sinus infection problems, try this product. It's fast, it's easy and it really works!Update 3/2008: Nasaline works! I'm still using it and I can still breathe. If you have sinus problems, try this! See all 74 customer reviews...

Jeremiah Fyffe I actually use this product in a NeilMed Sinus Rinse Regular Bottle Kit 1 kit. I didn't go with the Waterpik SWI 615 Sinusense Water Pulsator Includes 15 Soothing Saline Packs With Aloe Vera and Eucalyptus, Blue/white because of some of the reviews. The SinuSense Packs have two benefits ::1) The little packet is far easier to open and poor into the bottle because of it's longer and thinner shape.2) The Sinusense includes Aloe Vera and Eucalyptus. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. I can finally breathe and not have to HACK IT anymore By Teddy Sanowski I have been looking for a neti pot solution for a while but it's hard for me to justify the price of $30 like most products to stick it up my nose and pour water. When Waterpik came out with this solution I was excited because it was half of the cost of other products and came with the saline packets. After I tried it for the first time, I can't tell you how much I can breathe again when I wake up. My biggest issues no matter the season or even how clean my home is is that I have an overload of mucus and what have you in my nasal cavity. I like to practice breathing exercises and tai chi in the morning but it's hard for me to go through a routine without having to stop and "hack" something out. Especially if you are doing a meditative style breathing of qi qong. However to my avail I was able to breath deeply and and I felt wonderful. This will be an excellent remedy for when I receive a cold or have an allergy. The one thing that is a bit of a bothersome is having to keep your bottle maintained. Initially you have to clean it, boil water, wait then use it. It has to be done weekly. Also there could be a little more push of the water when I am pouring as it can take a little time. But other than that, it's a great product and I can now definitely skip the pills and just do this twice a day! Highly recommended. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. That wasn't so bad. By Anonymous For the past year and a half, for reasons unknown, I have been suffering from recurrent sinusitis. I am not sure that I am a true believer in the neti pot, but now I am at a point where I am willing to exhaust my options. I wanted something simple and low cost, so I went with this Waterpik variation on the traditional neti pot. I tried it for the first time tonight and it was very easy both to prepare and to use. You just pour one of the provided packets into the device, add warm water up to the line, and shake it up. Then you just lean your head to one side (over the sink, of course) and place the nozzle into the "upper" nostril. There is a button on the top of the device that releases the liquid into your nose. Even if you push it down all the way, the flow is still very light, so no need to be too concerned with your pressure. The sensation is a little like when you accidentally get water up your nose, but not as traumatizing since the flow is much more gentle (and, of course, you are expecting it). If anything it was more of the feeling of having a runny nose - a little uncomfortable, but not awful. I am not sure if this will help in the long run, but I am at least glad that my experience was uncomplicated. I would not hesitate to buy this product if you are curious to try this sort of nasal irrigation method. 11 of 22 people found the following review helpful. Actually, it's not so bad as the 1-star would indicate By Brian Cunnie This neti pot isn't so bad, in spite of my 1-star review. The reason that I'm giving it a 1-star review is because they have self-serving marketing baloney in their instruction manual. Specifically, and I quote, they say, "For optimum hygiene, we recommend replacing your neti bottle every 90 days."If they were really worried about hygiene, they would recommend that we place the neti bottle in the microwave every 90 days to clear out any bacteria. But they're not really interested in our hygiene, they're interested in their bottom-line--which is okay, they should be interested in their bottom line, but they shouldn't try to masquerade their interest in their bottom line as interest in our health. Do they think we're that stupid? Wait, obviously they do.They also recommend that you use their "special" (i.e. branded & expensive) salt. This is silly. You can use generic table salt (but NOT iodized because iodized salt tends to sting).Other than those two points,

Sherman I just used the NeilMed Sinugator, and it really helped my post nasal drip that was making me cough. It was easy to use, didn't make me gag as I thought it may, and I would highly recommend it. I boiled some water as they recommended, and let it cool down to just warm and then followed their instructions. I have allergies and take antihistamines. Instead, I plan to use this device daily. Try it, and I am sure you will like it. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. WOW By Victor da la Tnalag I've been using the Waterpik irrigation attachment for years from Grossan and it worked pretty well. It was messy and time consuming however. Just got the Sinugator today and was amazed at how much faster and how much better it irrigated the sinuses. 30 seconds and done !I don't like having to irrigate, but it just got a whole lot easier to do it. It was not since 11 years ago when I discovered that the best sinus treatment for what was left inside of my nose was actually daily sinus irrigation. I have used almost all devices that exist and I'm using now two of them, the SinuPulse Elite for domestic use and the Waterpik for travelling. The waterpik has resolved my problems when I'm out of home and away of the regular sinus cleaning although, I think, they should improve its ergonomy oto make it the perfect devide for the work. Furthermore I very much prefer the Waterpik saline sinus pack with Aloe Vera and Eucalyptus over anything that its in the market, and I have tested them all. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Convenient shaped pack, nice formula By Diana De Avila After having had a Septoplasty and chronic sinus-infections throughout my life, I have become much more aware of the importance of sinus irrigation. My doctor gave me a recipe years ago and I know you can find them on the Internet as well. However I find using a product like SinuSense offers a lot more convenience. I used Ayr Saline Nasal Rinse Kit Refill Packets, 100-Count Packets (Pack of 2) these with the Ayr bottle that came along with it but after I ran out decided to go with these. For convenience and ease, they are great. I do not really smell, taste or sense the Eucalyptus and Aloe Vera in the product. But for form factor alone I like these because they are easy to pour into the narrow mouth of a bottle. They say on the package that you CAN use tap water but it is not recommended. I do not use distilled water any more because it's just too much of a hassle. Tap water works just fine for me.Saline flushing is a must if you deal with allergies and if you use nasal sprays -- saline sinus flushing is a must for you. I have found that flushing helps my allergies and sinuses exponentially. Waterpik offers a convenient way to accomplish the goal. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Better than "Sinus Rinse" saline packs. By Radcliffe I use these with the Sinus Rinse pressure bottle. IMHO, these are better than the standard saline packs that Sinus Rinse offers. Plus, this is cheaper. See all 9 customer reviews...
