More durable PillowSonic I bought these speakers to replace the PillowSonic Stereo Speaker pillow, which I had received last Christmas. My goal was mainly to get something more durable, but I found I like this better anyway. The speakers had a connection PillowSonic headphones pretty weak in that fund collapsed after about 4 months of use. I could deal with that as long as the speaker cone have been accidentally crushed. I needed something that could withstand a little abuse 'more. Power of these speakers Oasis sound seems far more frequently and the headphone jack is not even remotely inconsistent. The speaker cabinets are made of hard plastic and can not be crushed and destroyed. What I like most about these speakers is 2 meter cable between the left and right speakers. It means I can share with my husband, or more often only addressed any right speakers just below each ear. The sound quality is pretty good for a speaker of this size and I do not find to lie about it immediately clear to hear together, these speakers do their work better than others I have tried. Sustainability for the win! It works! I had a pillow sonic Stereo Speaker Pillow, which took about one year. It was OK, but then stopped working. This worked better out of the box. It was easier to place the two speakers in a pillow and pillow were louder and clearer than Sonic Stereo Speaker pillow. Update 06/28/2010: The management of the first speaker was broken. Annoying. Took about 18 months. Update: 01/01/2011. The wire broke again. Got disasseble and soldering. The thread breaks at the location it goes into the speaker. These must have been strengthened. Aftger repair, I added the tape to which the wire leaves the speaker I hope this helps. These speakers speakers work well to ignore the annoying background noise. However, if you plan to sleep through the night with them, slip every time you turn around and often the sound is off and you press on most or shake make their return. Be prepared to shake every time you ride. I bought 2 sets of these speakers and they both do ..
